Classes and Courses for Organizations

 

I am often asked to do classes or courses for organizations including businesses, non-profits and healthcare facilities. I can do a one-time introduction to mindfulness and/or self-compassion, or a multiweek course on those topics. (A favorite is the 6-week Mindful Self-Compassion course, with each session lasting an hour.) The benefits of these practices for teams and organizations have been well-researched and include things like stress reduction, decreased turnover and increased creativity and engagement.

 

I am happy to do this as a volunteer or for a small donation, especially for those in healthcare, education, and for non-profits and their clients. Keep offering these types of courses during these pandemic and almost post-pandemic time frames. Stress and anxiety is at an all time high for most people, and anything that can assist with coping is appreciated. These are terrific courses. The self-compassion course was amazing and so helpful. Jonathan was a fantastic facilitator and I hope that he continues to do this work and is invited back over and over. I look forward to continuing to build my mindfulness skills. The one-hour blocks are much more achievable for me than the 2 or 3 hour blocks.

This was a great program. Jon was an awesome leader, and I felt cared for/about, and he made it easier to be vulnerable with a group of people I didn't really know, in an online format.
