Individual Mentoring
Sometimes taking a course doesn’t completely cover all that mindfulness has to offer, or it may not be possible to fit a weekly course into your schedule. I enjoy working with individuals to suggest a range of practices that can be customized in specific ways. This can include things such as working on focused awareness, or exploring emotions with the RAIN practice. It can also include in-the-moment resourcing and/or finding meaning and resilience through embodying core values. Really, it is about anything you are drawn to and want to investigate further.
Please note that I am not a mental health professional, and what I offer is not therapy nor any type of medical treatment. Instead, this is simply a chance to talk about what your interests are, and then try targeted approaches that can expand your repertoire for self-understanding and self-care.
I offer this freely, and if you find it valuable, you can consider donating to either Imagine Mindfulness, a non-profit dedicated to making mindfulness courses accessible to anyone around the world, or to the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, a great resource for relearning how to be kind to yourself. (Or any other non-profit you prefer!) If you are not at a point where donations are possible, please know that your interest in these things will allow you to pay it forward because by attending to yourself you will become better at attending to those around you and the world at large.
If you are interested in this, you can use the Contact page to reach me or email me directly at modestlymindful@gmail.com. Also, please understand that depending on my schedule I may not always have time for sessions like this.
