Distractions.

Distractions are useful, as long as you use them wisely. Remember, ultimately, they are distracting you away from the present moment. And that is fine; we definitely need to do that at times. Mindfulness, on the other hand, invites us to ‘distract’ ourselves right into our experience and into the present moment. That can be tough. But ultimately it is how we heal.
